Coasta Verde

The cliffs overlooking the Pacific all along the city are naturally barren palisades of sand, mango-sized rocks, dirt and gravel. The cliffs are draped with countless meters of netting to deter slides. Despite the name, plant life is reluctant to join the effort. The maintained gardens on the promenade are lovely.
